Hello, I am
Elisa Welling
founder of Perenne. I am an architect, but today I am focused on building my dreams as a fashion entrepreneur. I design all of Perenne’s patterns from scratch, and it’s exciting to see my drawings come to life on the surface of silk. I hope that the finished products find new homes where they bring joy to as many people as possible for as long as possible.

The House of Perenne
The House of Perenne is designed to be a home for all patterns. The house draws inspiration from Art Nouveau architecture, particularly the Art Nouveau buildings in Tampere, Finland. Art Nouveau style combines decorative forms and unique organic elements with practical craftsmanship. These same qualities are also reflected in Perenne’s products.

Design
All Perenne products are designed in Finland. It all begins with our goal to create sustainable and high-quality fashion from natural materials. Alongside the choice of silk fabric, the creative process of pattern design plays a key role in shaping the collection. Perenne patterns are unique because they are entirely drawn from scratch with design software. The final printable pattern is developed from the initial sketch and becomes an integral part of the collection.

Manufacturing
Perenne silk scarves are crafted in Italy's Lake Como silk region, an area with a long tradition of silk production. Nestled in the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Italy, between mountains and lakes, this region combines luxury with centuries-old craftsmanship. The shores of Lake Como and its surrounding villages have been renowned since the Renaissance for producing the world's finest silk.
